Please ensure that you are using a valid and ‘your’ credit card. Using someone else’s credit card without authority/ knowledge is illegal and will be labelled as fraudulent transaction.
1. What do I need to pay attention to when using Credit card for purchase?
The credit held against the customer will take 5 business days to be processed, after which the corresponding bank will take their necessary time to process and release the payment. All your credit card information will be safely stored with us. If there are hurdles in receiving the payment, please except a delay in shipping and delivery, as the product will not be released unless the payment is received.
2. What do I do in case of a fraudulent transaction?
We advise you to not authorize anyone to use your card to shop online, especially minors. Please stay informed on the status and usage of your credit card. In case of any such unwarranted purchase, if the order has been shipped, Vilasa will not be responsible for the cancellation or refund of the product. Please email us and we will block all future purchases from the said credit card. Inform your bank immediately.
3. What are the reasons my credit card transactions may be declined?
There are a number of reasons we may not be able to accept your payment, following are a few with legal implications. Vilasa will reject your card, if the card shows following warning.
Bank warning on fraudulent account
Transaction contains information found in the blacklist or high risk country list.
The email address in the transaction is not valid.
The transaction exceeded the maximum dollar volume limit per card.
Incorrect information on address, pin or account number
Card lost or stolen message
CVV2 data does not match
Exceeds withdrawal limit
Card Type Verification Error (Card Type not accepted)
Invalid bank account
In case of all illegal transactions, Vilasa will not refund any payment or release any product. Vilasa will abide by Canadian laws and alert the authorities immediately.
